Father and sons fishing trip on Quadra Island

The Father`s Day weekend of June 19th and 20th Vic and Lawry were on Quadra Island

fishing with their sons. The first day we had some action landing a nice spring in

the first 15 minutes. After a few missed oppertunities and some more fishing we dropped the

anchor and rafted up with John for lunch off the South end of Quadra. After lunch we went back

to the lighthouse area for the tide change. Everybody had some great action that afternoon

with Aaron landing a bright chrome 19lb spring. The total catch for that day was nine nice size

salmon between the two boats. The next morning the tides were in our favour and the bite

was pretty good with eight fish hiting the dock.  A good weekend was had by all the anglers

and the fishing remains excellent for the month of June.
