We offer salt water and fresh water fishing charters in Campbell River and Nootka Sound on beautiful Vancouver Island.
In the waters surrounding Quadra Island and Campbell River, known as the salmon capital of the world, we offer world class fishing charters from May thru October. In this area, the Strait of Georgia and Discovery Passage, all five species of salmon can be caught, with an excellent run of migrating Chinook salmon.
In Nootka Sound, off the rugged West Coast of Vancouver Island, we offer fishing charters for the months of July and August. Large runs of Chinook and Coho salmon migrate along the west side of Vancouver Island. The chances of catching trophy Chinook salmon, known as Tyee (30lb + Chinook), is very good during these months. The deep waters of Nootka Sound also offers excellent bottom fishing for halibut, lingcod, and red snapper.
The pristine rivers of Vancouver Island provide the perfect environment for the freshwater fisherman. We offer fresh water fishing charters from May thru November. We fly or gear fish for trout, steelhead, or salmon. Fishing from sh
ore or by raft on our local rivers.
We will make your fishing trip as comfortable as possible. We salt water fish from a 24 foot covered cruiser with a marine head (toilet). All the guides are professional, highly experienced, and fully liscenced and insured. Your charter includes all fishing gear, bait, rain gear, non-alcoholic beverages, and the cleaning and bagging of your catch.
For visitors from Holland I speak fluent Dutch. We pick up in Campbell River at the Coast Discovery Marina, next to the Quadra Island ferry terminal.
